The OCUS Benchmark version 4
(for Pro/ENGINEER v. Wildfire and up)
- Last Modified: -
In short:
You download the benchmark, unpack it, follow the directions in the README.txt file and run the trail file
on your own computer with Pro/ENGINEER.
Count the results with the count utility.
Send the results to me by sending the time stamps to my web-based count tool.
What does the trail file do?
It opens the generic part and assembly (consisting of many instances of
the part) and does many repeated actions on both and on a created drawing
of the assembly. In between each repetition of tasks a time stamp is created.

History:
- 20050609 4.2 Added Wildfire 3.0 trailfile. All trailfiles now skip the license dialogue at Pro/E startup.
- 20040714 4.1 Included new version of countocus4.exe (v4.1) to fix ..wrong version.. bug.
- 20040422 4.0 New major version. For supporting Wildfire and Wildfire 2.0
- The benchmark is a lot more demanding:
- the fastest machines we're too fast, which made the results inaccurate.
- All test were rewritten to use Wildfire and Wildfire 2.0 commands.
- To improve stability all tests now use internal commands.
- should now be less version dependant.
- Some tests were changed.
- Some less relevant tests have been dropped (like some GUI tests)
- A new tests was added.
- 20040428 Latest addition to OCUS Benchmark v3 (R2000i - R2001)
- 20001122 Latest addition to OCUS Benchmark v2 (R19 - R2000i)
